A member of the Exinity Group, the FXTM brand is a leader in leveraged trading. The brand was established in 2011 by a team of professionals armed with a wealth of experience in banking, trading, and financial technology. At present, Exinity Group has more than 800 staff in over 10 offices around the world. 

Entities comprising the FXTM brand include ForexTime Limited (regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, licensed by the Financial Sector Conduct of South Africa, and is also registered with the Financial Conduct Authority of the UK); ForexTime (authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority); and Exinity Limited (regulated by the Financial Services Commission of the Republic of Mauritius).

Aside from being duly regulated, Exinity Limited is a member of The Financial Commission, an independent external dispute resolution (EDR) organization for consumers and traders providing The Compensation Fund up to €20,000 per case. FXTM also offers full segregation of funds for its retail clients. Importantly, Exinity Limited adopts the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) network security protocol to guarantee a secure connection in all communications with its clients.

The group’s global network of offices and regulations spans Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America, and it has already attracted over 3 million clients across 180 countries. Its brokerage services are also award-winning, receiving over 25 international awards since the brand’s inception in 2011.

Note, though, that FXTM does not provide services to residents of the USA, Mauritius, Japan, Canada, Haiti, Suriname, the Democratic Republic of Korea, Puerto Rico, Brazil, the Occupied Area of Cyprus, and Hong Kong.

FXTM provides traders access to several financial markets including forex (available 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, allowing you to trade the most popular major, minor and exotic currency pairs), precious metals, stock CFDs, spot commodities, CFD indices, and cryptocurrencies.

Account Types

FXTM’s live account offerings include Standard Account, Cent Account, and Stock CFDs Account.

Each of these live trading accounts has its own conditions, tailored to different types of traders depending on their individual needs, investment goals, and financial background. 

Standard Account can be opened by depositing a minimum trading deposit of $100. This account provides traders with spreads starting from 1.3 pips, leverage up to 1:2000, instant execution, 30 lots maximum volume per trade, and 40-20 Margin Call/Stop Out.

Cent Account is a low-entry account type where traders will just have to deposit $10 to open the account. This is equipped with a set of trading conditions that include leverage up to 1:1000, spreads from 1.5 pips, 60-40 Margin Call/Stop Out, 1 lot maximum volume per trade, and instant execution.

Stock CFDs Account also requires a $100 minimum initial deposit. This account provides traders with spreads from 0.1 pips, fixed leverage of 1:10, instant execution, 40-20 Margin Call/Stop Out, access to 120 US shares and over 40 European shares, 10 lots maximum volume per trade.

FXTM has a demo account offering available in certain account types such as Standard, Cent, ECN, and ECN Zero accounts for experimental trading. 

Funding Methods

Here are FXTM’s accepted payment options: FasaPay, TC Payment, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), e-wallets (Skrill, VLOAD, Crypto Wallets, Alfa-click, Neteller, WebMoney, QIWI, Perfectmoney, Bitcoin, Konnexone), and bank transfers.

Except for several local deposit means, there are no deposit fees charged for any deposit options provided by FXTM. For withdrawals, most e-wallets charge withdrawal fees while some other options are free of charge.

Its MT5 offering has more balance transaction types compared to MT4, is armed with 44 analytical objects and unlimited number of charts, has an integrated economic calendar and email system, is also powered with multi-threaded strategy tester, and employs a system of alerts to keep up to date with all the latest market events.

For robust mobile trading, FXTM Trader is a customized app that enables users to access the markets wherever, whenever. FXTM Trader is available to download for free on both iOS and Android devices. 

Bottom Line

FXTM is a tightly regulated broker with a good range of educational tools for its traders and excellent customer support. With its good selection of trading platforms, both novice and experienced traders can benefit from the broker’s services. 

On the downside, the broker has relatively high trading fees.
